This is the cool thing about tubas and tuba players: no two of us are alike. It's really wierd to hear all the people talking about the great sound of the Meinl Westons, but I've always liked the Yamaha sound better. Maybe it's just a matter of my breathing problem or something else, but this is why I love tuba players. We're not like trumpet players, where it's Monette or nothing. My friend once said to me to think of Monette as "Money on Nothing Except The Trumpet Ego".
