I tried to e-mail this to you, but I got it back with a note saying there is no such address. So I'll post it instead.

I'm selling a silver Miraphone Eb, if you're interested. This is a Besson
copy (3 top+1 side piston) but with a larger bore (.730/.790 4th valve).
The larger bore makes the intonation a little quirkier (high F must be
fingered 1-3), but the sound is much bigger, and the compensating register
is much more open. I liked it a lot better than the Besson, but I've always
liked big tubas.

What are you planning to do with your Eb? Truthfully, this is a better
all-purpose horn than it is a second horn for a CC player, but it can work
for that purpose, too. FYI, I'm selling it because I need the money to buy
a euph, otherwise I would absolutely keep this horn.

Anyway, I'm selling it and a hard case (which one of the feet came off,
btw, but will be included, if you want to put it back on) for $4500. I
bought it for $5000 in February from Brasswind. Since then the silver
version of the horn disappeared from the catalog (the lacquer version is
still in the catalog) and the price of the hard case went up $100.

Please let me know if you have any questions,
Scott
