At the risk of making this look like a corps discussion on Tubenet (which is pretty much a no-no), the two hornlines using Bb instruments (trumpets, baris, euphs, tubas, and F mellophones) made a good showing; Cadets got the tie with Cavaliers, and Blue Devils were solidly in 3rd. Everybody should watch this broadcast, and if applicable, the Behind The Scenes-type program attached to it.

Although they both still sounded like corps (BD sounded like BD, and Cadets sounded like Cadets), there was a difference from the all-G hornlines, and at least this year, intonation was shakier in the Bb hornlines. We'll see how good they sound when they really get sorted out, and we'll also see if more kids want to march because their teachers won't get mad at them for playing on Bb instead of G for six hours a day all summer.

Gonna be an interesting decade in drum corps.
