If you are just cleaning the mouthpiece and not concerned with polishing the silver or removing tarnish, good hot soapy water is all it takes. If you do not have a specific brush for mouthpieces try pipe cleaners. You want something to get in there and clean out all the food particles which can accumulate in the back bore over time.
