I have a possible idea. I know that it has been said that traditional accoustic foam probably won't help. They have special accoustic foam for the corner between the top of the wall and the ceiling. A cross section of it shows a 90 degree corner where it tucks in between the wall and ceiling, and extends maybe a foot onto each. There are long 'fingers' radiating out. This is suppossed to be very effective at stopping low frequencies. I would be interested in hearing someone else's experience with this type of foam. I am considering getting some of it after I move soon.

Accoustics are a funny thing - I can hear the TV in the bathroom with the door closed a lot louder than sitting 10 feet directly in front of it.
