Ditto on the Toothpaste & throat brush. Throat & backbore is where the crud lives that yer fingers can't get to.
If you cant find a "Tuba mouthpiece brush" get a cheap nylon bristle wire handle clarinet mouthpiece brush. It's better than the "universal" brass mouthpiece brushes that stores carry, which are really too small for tuba backbore.
