Some years ago, I remeber seeing a fiber board sousaphone case somewhere. It was flimsy, but gave the horn more protection than a gig bag would. I am not looking for a Anvil-quality case, just something to use to protect it in the back end of the pickup for an occasional gig. (Every tuba player needs a pick up!) Judging by your response, it doesn't sound H&B does custom work? I could have a wooden case made for it, but I am sure that would end up being MUCH too heavy and unwieldly.
