I second the nomination for Kevin Powers at Michigan Musical Instruments.
He has done great work on my horns. Tuba players from all over the
country send their horns to him for his expertise on tubas. He actually
started his shop in Monroe, MI with the hopes of making trumpets but he
is so good with tubas that he doesn't have the time to start the trumpets.
