Amen. Furthermore, the Yamaha has one of the larger bores among BBb rotary tubas, at .810. The big Cervenys and Rudy Meinls are bigger, as well as the St. Pete (by a hair). But the Meinl-Westons and Miraphones are all smaller. Do they sound smaller? I think not.
