Have an old E flat. I have found and resoldered all the air leaks I can find. If I hold it upright while playing I don't seem to hear any problems, but if I hold it far enough horizontally either direction (lean forward or backward) I hear a faint buzz or rattle. Does this make any sense at all? I can't for the life of me figure out where the leak is. Maybe it's my imagination. Doesn't matter what valves are pressed, it's still there. How do you affectively find the pesky air leaks? Valves are marginal. Not real good, not real bad.
