I wanted to play drums, but the middle school band director said "Percussion is 90% mallets and 10% drums." Dirty trick, but it worked for me. Oh, and this snotty girl in my class bet me $5 that I wouldn't play the tuba. Guess I showed her. Actually, I never did get my $5!
