This can happen if you have allowed yourself to move toward tension and away from air to get your tone. Also from not warming up in the low range, which gets your air moving.
If you're not suffering any pain, the above is most likely.
As said, consult your teacher immediately, if you have one.
If you don't have one, check out what has happened by doing a good warmup in the low range and see if it helps. If it doesn't help you need to take it easy for a while and make sure you do nothing to make it worse.
If it just goes away to nothing (i.e., your chops just "disapper") in a few days, then you need to do some research on something called focal dystonia. Hopefully that is very far from what is going on with you.
