My vote is for recording both keys twice in random order. (4 times total) Play the tape in your lesson. Don't say what horn is what on the tape. Then listen and talk about what you each like for whatever reasons. Then see if you really like the F better and your teacher (Dave, right?) really likes the CC better when YOU play the excerpt.
Be fair....it's got to be 4 GREAT takes of the march!
