It looks like Lee wrote the letters "BBb" next to every instrument he listed, except #8, the MW25, which only comes as a BBb. So I guess I'd assume he was writing from a BBb perspective.

I do find it interesting that the new Fafner 5/4 has specs about the same as the 191 (bell size and bore), but that it has the "taller" bell like the "typical" German rotary BBb, instead of the shorter bell layout of the 191. Similar horns, otherwise, it seems, including the vertical main tuning slide.
