If you're ever at Interlochen Center for the Arts, there is a "fat" one (as Klaus refers to) usually on display - part of the Greenleaf Collection. Again, there is no body elbow, but the "upright" bell is permanently attached to an elbow that detaches from the body. I suppose one COULD mount it on to the body "crooked" (not pointing straight up), if desired.
