I know it well. Picked mine up in December from Joe S.
They are nice little horns for the $$$, easy to blow and pretty even all the way down to the pedal F#, it the pedal F is a little tricky, if you play it 1+4 it's a bit sharp, if you play it 1-2-4 it's a bit too flat (tough to lip either direction). It also doesn't have much of a pedal E or Eb.
Mine works well in quintet and small ensemble situations... until someone shows up with a VMI BAT but that's another discussion.
