Believe it or not, ZeppCo Fishing Reel Oil is the ultimate valve oil... and it's about as expensive as Al Cass, I believe. This is something a teacher at a university said, and it really works. He also said to use ZeppCo Fishing Reel Grease for your tuning slides, especially the first valve slide. Now, I don't know this from personal experience, but I have a friend who owns a brand new Hirsbrunner, and he uses that for his main valve oil. when I played his horn, the valves were very reliable, except the first valve (which was my fault because my finger could barely reach the valve). It won't hurt your horn, so just give it a try! Hope I could help!
