I was curious if you guys could give me some help for a audition piece for college because I don't have many tuba solo pieces. I do have Bach's Air and Bourree. I was thinking about playing the Bourree for a shorter, technical piece. I also have Concertpiece by Painpare and Lamento by Bennie Beach. I need a good multi-movement piece for most of my auditions. Any suggestions? The Concertpiece has multiple movements but I don't know if it's suitible for a college audition. I would also need a more lyrical piece as well. If it helps, I'll most likely be auditioning on a BBb tuba 'cause I don't own a CC. I'm not sure of all the colleges that I'm auditioning but one I'm really considering is Ithaca College. I would also appreciate any insight on David Unland, the tuba/euph professor at Ithaca. I was just curious what he is like as an instructor and as a performer. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Chris
