Isn't capitalism great! As was posted below a horn is worth what the buyer thinks it is worth.
Just be glad you don't play a string instrument. I played a local choral society gig and the bass player next to me mentioned he loves playing these $50 gigs so he can pay off his $3000 bow! THE BOW COSTS $3000!!!!! I didn't have the nerve to ask what he paid for his bass!
