I don't have any experience with that particular horn, but I do have plenty of experience with the Amati 321, BBb 4 valve horn that my high school owns,which was really just not a good tuba. From what I understand, none of the horns in the Amati line are much better. You can get a much better horn at a comparable price. Many people have have written glowing reports about the Weril, which is also an inexpensive horn. You may have a different opinion about the Amati if you play it, but if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't even consider it.
