A tuba is decent if it allows you to play the music that you want with the appropriate sound and intonation. If you have a King 2341UB and you are happy with it, why even ask the question?

Since you did ask, the consensus seems to be that the King 2341 is a very sturdily made, well playing instrument that represents the classic "American" tuba style. They can be a little stuffy in the low register, but they are a good tuba for the money and will stand up to lots of abuse. I also think that the "new" King 2341, with the fixed bell, is an improvement on the old ones and is probably one of the best tubas available in its price range.
