My vote is also with the Bernstein/CSO, you also get a really great 1st, and for those interested in these things, the recording is a RARE DG/CSO that actually sounds like what a listener in a first row Gallery seat might have heard. The immediacy and presence of this recording makes it a real document of how the CSO sounded in the late '80s.
I got to hear them (Bernstein/CSO) play the 7th live at Avery Fisher. A number of people were heard to comment that they forgot AFH was supposed to have acoustical problems.
