The problem with knock-offs and copies is that the cutting and reaming tools are often just sharpened, rather than replaced when they dull. This reduces the size of the hole being cut and makes the objects inconsistent. So you may get an early copy and the mouthpiece will be almost the same as the original or you may get a later one where the dimensions are really not too true.
