Tim,
I think it may be closed for renovations. My father-in-law is checking for me. Gene Paulson was a monster. When I record this crazy Polka thing, I will send you an older recording of him with the Reedy Creek Jazz Band(figure who they were affiliated with) that has to be heard to be believed. They do a great "Dinah" that modulates about 8 times and each time Gene's lines get more complex. Too bad we lost him years back. Gannett is the God of Trad Playing(all apologies to Mssrs. Pilafian and Newberger). Couple other guys who played regularly back in the 70's and early 80's were Joe Duweese and Max Flagg. Good, solid players who, I believe have departed. The late Lee Richardson also was known to display his prodigous talent at Rosie's. Thanks for the memories.
