Kevin Ladd- One of the best sounds in the business. And he could teach you how to get it in an engaging and down-to-earth manner!!!

John Upchurch- best analytical mind ever produced. He could get a block of tofu to sound good.

Don Lucas- for single-handedly turning my playing around when I REALLY needed it. Probably one of the best musicians to ever hold an instrument.

Bill Bell- THE Father of us all. What a sound, what a career, what an immense impact on the tuba's acceptance. EVERYONE owes him a debt of gratitude.
