I have three:
David Bragunier, for instilling very high musical standards and insisting that I endeavor to sound like a musician, not a tuba player.
Dave Fedderly, for showing me how it all works. Lessons with Dave were always an opportunity to grow. He made me play better, which is what great teachers do for their students.
Ed Livingston, for giving my life perspective and showing me that what kind of person you are defines your life, not what kind of player you are. Not a day goes by that I don't wish that I could be more like him!
