I realize that I wasn't asked about JB weld, but I have found that the stuff hardens to a more brittle state than what I would like. I have not been able to get a good mix that I could use for a strong grip between parts that I wish to bond.
As i'm sure no one will be putting a pipe wrench on the monsterweights, there will be some stress on the bonding agent from playing and resting the instrument.
Someone might be having better luck with JB weld. If so, how do you make it work?
