Whenever condensation can flow downhill into the mouthpiece I would expect a greater chance of this occurring. If you've got a rotary horn, then there's usually a length of leadpipe that's almost horizontal to the ground that could store up some condensation that will happily comply with the laws of gravity and flow down into your mpc depending on how you're holding the horn. If you've got a piston valved horn, the leadpipe usually runs more closely to vertical (with respect to the ground) DOWN into the valve cluster and I would guess this would be less likely to happen.

If this could explain your situation, can you alter the position of the horn slightly and see if the problem ceases? If it can't explain your situation, then wait for the next post that might be helpful!
