That's the rub. The official numbers involved were never reported. The whole thing lacks an air of credibility and offers an interesting(or not) insight into how decisions are made in large organizations. In reality those in control don't need a vote to make these sorts of changes(Does it say so in the bylaws?). I think it was an attempt to give the name change the image of being a mandate from the people. If this were really the case the numbers would have been published. Instead there are just enough folks who *didn't* vote for the change to bring it up on a regular basis for what I guess will be quite a while. This is going to fester until those that didn't vote for the change are given some sort of closure or a new fiasco is created to distract 'em so they will forget.

Such is life.
Moral of the Story: Tuba players do not make for good politicians.
