I arranged bank loans for my horns, exclusive of my student loans, and had my parents co-sign the loan. It never cost them a penny, as I always paid the loan on time. I don't know if your parents are in a position to help in this manner, but if they are you can certainly benefit if you are responsible. In addition to having the security of the co-sign, you also build your personal credit rating. I agree with the others though about whether you need to start right away on learning F-tuba. There's a whole lot you can learn before you start diversifyng. Get good and comfortable on the CC tuba. Good luck
