You on work study? If not, you might be able to go for a job. Something with low hours that will fit your schedule. What about a relative? Your parents might me strapped, but if you gently nudge your grandparents or rich siblings, they might think about contributing to the cause. Or, if all else fails, go to the nearest dept/grocery store parking lot, tip over a cart, lay out your case and start playing excerpts. I have done this before, people will come and stare at you, and occasionally give you money. Seriously. And if the manager comes out yelling, "You damn kid!" then you can just whack him with your tuba.
