The weight of these horns has been discussed before, the ones they have must need a bad chem clean. A 24J should only be about 34 lbs. at most. Allthough, carrying these horns as they do is not very healthy to the spine as they are really meant to be played whil sitting down. Maybe gravity is a more powerful in Alabama. Or maybe they have the depleated uranium trim.
