I think it is a great idea. Learn the laws concerning copyright etc, if you are going to use other people's music however. You need to pay for licensing, etc. if you want to do it the right way. But there is no reason why you could not do it. As some other people have mentioned, however, keep in mind your target audience will be rather small. I wouldn't expect to get too rich doing it, but there is not reason you could do it. And have a lot of fun doing so! I have done the smae with many of my arrangments that I have written over the years. I figured hey, these are just as good as anything else I have ever bought. Perhaps someone else would like them too. I've sold a few over the last year. They are all public domain things, so I did not have to pay royalties or get permission to arrange.
