I use a MF3 on tuba and a Yanaha Doug Yeo Signature on bass trombone. I do a lot of doubling in bigbands, sometimes playing both instruments in the same piece! I find the different mouthpieces help keep the sounds more like they're intended. I never had any success with a tuba mouthpiece in a bass trom.
