Using the same m/p since early days is fine, but what happens when bore sizes change ?
My original Boosey & Hawkes Kosicup was a great mouthpiece, but when the old Imperials were faded out and the new large bore Sovereigns came in, it did not work despite many adaptors, sleeves etc. I had made.
If I had not experimented and looked around, I would never had found the Doug Elliott range, where I was able to get as close as possible to my favourite door-stop !
