I just measured the ID of the first tuning slide. It's .8125 (13/16 inch)
It's got a real nice low end.
I gotta get the kid his own - some 3/4 size beater he can dent up in school, then when he is ready either get the dents taken out or get him a newer full size one and let the younger son have the beater.
Besides we need to be able to play together, duets & TubaChristmasses and all that stuff!
(oh boy, I get one Tuba and now I gotta have more. Looks like I've got it bad now)
