Actually the valves were all redone - nickel plated & lapped by Ron Partch of Partch Brasswind in Toronto. Valve linkages are also new. I would not have bought it if the valves were in original shape.
I've gotten some very good info, the horn came with a little oil but I knew I would have to go out and buy more soon so that's why I asked.
I've oiled it up and it is playing nicely. Now I have to get some practice time in to relearn those fingerings!
