I'm interested to find out what strategies those of you with Willson 3400 Eb tubas have developed to drain the water accumulation from the 3rd valve branch. Even if I pull the bottom tuning slide and depress the 3rd valve, some water still refuses to drain. About the only way I've figured out to drain most of the water is to pull the bottom slide, depress the valve and blow the water out. Kind of messy and not very quiet!
Any suggestions for a better method?
