hey man. Firstly, you might want to get a bigger horn, although yo usacrifice clarity, articulation, and higher register ease with them. Secondly, what kind of mouthpeice do you use. You might want to try a deep funnel cup. Say a PT- 42+. Thirdly, lower your jaw, and use thick streams of air. Fourthly, are you trying to acheive a dark, clear, brilliant, thick, or weighty sound. If you can do all that in one shot, i'll be damned. fifthly, you're not looking for a rice or mashed potatoe sound, you're looking for a fat cow kinda sound. Try no to force your sound too much. If you've already got all the mouthpeice, and technical stuff above down, and you end up forcing the tone to get volume, then you probably want a bigger peice of metal.
