Speaking as one who's playing a YBB201 as a "semipro" down here in the bush leagues, if you can make it work for you, you'd have to be a heckuva player. It takes way more stamina to play the horn than my old King Souzie.

If you're just starting college, my advice would be to get your hands on as many horns as you can and give them a real workout. There is absolutely no hurry to run out and buy a $6000 horn on a professor's say-so. Take the horn to a band rehearsal (not orchestra, you won't get enough meat to play to give it a workout) if you can, and see how the horn works for you after an hour of "real" playing. My experience is that working on etudes or scales in a practice room just does not give you a good idea of how what the horn will do in a real-life situation.
