i don't know what kind of gig you want but if it's military you don't need a BAT necessarily. i'm sure no one is going to tell chris tiedeman (just won the marine band gig at age 19 two years ago) he should sell the 4/4 getzen cc tuba he used to win the gig and buy a BAT. learn to play with and a good big full sound on any horn.
