Don't know about the DEG bag - But, if you have an old pair of jeans or pants made from a strong material you can make a bag that will work great. Cut off one leg of the jeans. Sew the bottom together. Roll the top over and sew, leaving room to snake a piece of cord thru to act as a drawstring. Then pick up a piece of say 2" web material at a fabric store and sew near the top and bottom to make a carry strap.
My sister sews a bit and made me one from an old pair of jeans. It holds the K & M stand, and will also hold my mpc/valve oil/tuner/etc. bag, as well as a water bottle and a hand towel.
FWIW
I can throw it over my shoulder leaving hands free for horn, music, music stand, etc.
