WEll, I talked to one of the tuba players the last time the were in town and they are using a Yamaha four valve 3/4 size CC tuba. Blast! has a contract with Yamaha so they have to use those particular instruments. The last time I saw them they didn't use any contra's or converts. Hope this helps.
