Hi, I've noticed a few of these Conns floating around that auction site recently, and as I've neve actually seen one in person I was wondering if they were any good or not. Looks like a big 3/4 or small 4/4 size horn. What's the difference between this and the 12J? Is a convertible horn? Looks like the first and third valve slides may be interchangeable for shoulder playing. I guess what I really want to know is, do they play alright? I'm still looking for a cheap, light, big-belled BBb for club dates. (Don't want to haul in the heavy stuff for a gig with "The Funky Blues Kings" at the local semi-dive, you know.)
