I was speaking with my friend (bone player) and he said that his brother (tenor player) can transpose the horn music to tenor.. How would this sound?

We have 2 really good horn players, they are freshmen and I dont' know them that well. I was hoping to keep it within people I knew well enuf to have over to my house w/o having problems between parents.. So in short could a tenor sax cover a horn part?

If I can do it with 1 tuba, 2 trumpets, 1 bone 1 tenor.. then I'd be all set :)

O, How does the bone covering the french horn part work? I can get 2 good trombones.. so could we do 1 tuba 2 trombones(1 covering french horn) and 2 trumpets?

Thanx for the response, Im really hoping we do this. Its just gonna be difficult to do because I dont' wanna ask mr watt to have to practice with us, I think it be really hard on him. So Im hoping just us 5 can get together and play this.
