I jsut warn you in preparing for those high notes that you don't only work on in the high register...that'll kill your chops. Also concerning the mouthpiece, the 2145 reciever is very weird..I believe in the whole philosophy that your shank should only be in a reciever an inch, from that standpoint the Doug Elliot is the only mouthpiece I used for a few years, but when you get into an Orchestra that doesn't work..so..
Another thing to try is a PT 65, when I bought my PT 10 and set it next to my 2145 there was really very littler difference size wise. So I did use a PT 65 for quintet things and it worked very nicely, I never tried on the high stuff, I probably should have..it might work for you.
