Hello Fellow Tubists!

It has been quite some time since I have posted on this message board. Hopefully some of you still remember me! My wonderful girlfriend, Allison, gave me the best birthday present ever: a two hour lesson with Chris Hall, tubist with the Met.

I learned alot from him. We worked on only a small amount of one of my pieces, but I took home incredible amounts of information in just two hours. He also suggested that I try his mouthpiece, the Laskey 30H. I really liked it alot. It has a sharper rim, and it just seems to give me a brighter tone. I went out and got myself one, teehee. I still have my Dillon HB2B, but right now I am sticking to the Laskey 30H.

I would like to publiclly thank Allison for such a wonderful present, and would also like to invite you all to comment on Chris Hall, or anything esle from my post!

Thanks,
Dan Mordhorst
