Those classifications you've posted above are pseudonyms for tubas of different quality levels of tubas.
There really and truly are not tubas designed for different levels of players.
Even those that might argue that 3/4-size tubas are for beginners can be shot down by the many "professional" quality 3/4-size tubas available. The really fuzzy nomenclatures (though they all are) are the ones containing the word "intermediate".
