I am fortunate to have collected a few horns over the years (not as many as you, though!)pitched in Eb, CC, and BBb, and pretty much have a tuba for any situation, whether it be dixie, quintet, concert band, tuba quartet, etc. (being an army tubist I play in ensembles like these on a regular basis). I don't plan to learn F, as I can do the same thing on an Eefer; no hard feelings to all you dedicated F players :-) I learned Eb fingerings 6 years ago because they are so similar to BBb fingerings, then I took up CC shortly thereafter. Like most tubists, I started out on BBb and feel it is "best" for me. Getting off the subject: Thanks for those photos of your King Bell Fronts with the new added 4th on one of them - Sam Gnagey did a great job!
