I play trombone, both tenor and alto, mostly jazz but I was classically trained and still do some freelance classical playing. I was in the Air Force "Airmen of Note" in DC from 1989-96. I freelance in the DC area and tour with the Artie Shaw Orchestra, and this fall I will be touring with a 40's big band show called In The Mood. For me, playing always comes first and I make mouthpieces when I have time.
I occasionally reply to posts here about embouchure issues because that's a subject I do know about, and most people know nothing about it.
